Defiler

Passive Skills

Starting at Rank 5, new passive skills can be purchased from the class trainer. Each of these skills can be upgraded (to the upgrade tier indicated in parenthesis) each Rank thereafter.

• Health Regeneration (3) - boosts in-combat health regeneration.
• Power Regeneration (4) – boosts in-combat power regeneration.
• Tactical Criticals (5) – boosts critical chance for tactical skills.
• Melee Criticals (2) – boosts critical chance for melee skills.

Active Skills

The Defiler will receive the following new skills:

• (Rank 3) Tenderize – a melee attack that has a chance to apply a short duration daze on the target.
• (Rank 4) Anointing of the Slick Flesh – a buff that boosts the Defiler’s group’s defenses against melee critical attacks.
• (Rank 5) Plague of Flies – a gourd attack that places a countdown on the target. At the end of the countdown, flies are summoned from the thrown gourd, which increases the target’s miss chance.
• (Rank 6) Efflorescence – a group heal over time skill
• (Rank 6) Curse of Rotten Flesh – a curse attack that decreases the target’s defenses against melee critical attacks.
• (Rank 8) Curse of the Melancholic Heart – a curse that decreases the target’s healing output.
• (Rank 9) Explosive Gourd – a gourd attack that damages the target and enemies around the target for fire damage over time.
• (Rank 12) Gooey Gourd – a damaging gourd attack that increases the target’s induction duration.
• (Rank 13) Blight – a skill that causes the Defiler to throw a gourd at the target’s feet, spilling slime on the ground. Any enemies within the slime puddle will have their incoming healing reduced.

Traits

The Defiler will receive the following new traits:

• (Rank 1) Fast Lob – decreases induction time for gourd skills.
• (Rank 4) Enhanced Slime – increases the amount of healing done and reduces the threat generated from healing
• (Rank 10) Advanced Skill: Blessing of Darkness – a skill that allows the Defiler to focus on an ally, redirecting damage taken from that ally to the Defiler. A heal over time provides a little protection for the Defiler during the channeling of the skill.
• (Rank 11) Frugal Cursing – decreases the power cost of all curse skills
• (Rank 14) Enhanced Skill: Plague of Flies – removes the countdown from Plague of Flies. This allows the flies to be immediately summoned when the skill is used against a target.
• (Rank 15) Enhanced Skill: Blight – increases the duration and incoming healing suppression of the Blight slime.
