It’s that time of year again: the weather turns colder, the leaves turn colorful, and spooky fun turns up everywhere. It also means it’s the perfect time for a pumpkin carving contest! We’re looking for the best Asheron’s Call®, Dungeons & Dragons® Online™, and The Lord of the Rings Online™ themed carved pumpkins! You could win a custom forum title and more! Your carving can be of your favorite creepy creature from our games, spooky scenes from around the game worlds, emblems and icons, or anything else from (or about) the games!

Welcome to the initial beta release of the new Community Site for The Lord of the Rings Online™! This update combines the features of the four independent community sites (news, forums, Lorebook, and my.lotro.com) into a single site with shared navigation and a host of new features.

Announcing The Lord of the Rings Online's Move to Free-to-Play!

Today is an important day for LOTRO: we’ve announced that this fall, LOTRO will begin offering a Free-to-Play option! Players will be able to download the game and adventure in Middle-earth for free. With Free-to-Play comes the addition of the LOTRO Store, where players will have immediate in-game access to a wide variety of special items, account services, and convenience items.

Lorebook Available In Game

Did you know you can access the Official LOTRO Lorebook from within the game? Just click on the Lorebook icon located on the outer ring of your radar mini-map to launch the in game browser.

We're pleased to announce a brand new feature for LOTRO players: Character signatures! You can now generate a graphical sig with information about any of your characters. Pick the one you want to display on the LOTRO forums, or copy the HTML so you can show off your characters on other forums and web pages!
